Terssie ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Terssie mobile application and website at terssie.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app to connect with your Tesla vehicle through the Tesla Fleet API.

Information We Collect

When you authorize Terssie to access your Tesla account, we may receive the following data through the Tesla Fleet API, depending on the permissions you grant:

• Vehicle identification (VIN, vehicle ID, model)
• Vehicle status (battery level, charging state, odometer, climate settings)
• Vehicle location (if location scope is granted)
• Account information (name, email associated with your Tesla account)

We do not collect or store your Tesla account password. Authentication is handled entirely through Tesla's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected solely to provide the features of the Terssie app, including:

• Displaying your vehicle's current status and history
• Sending vehicle commands you initiate (e.g., climate control, charging)
• Providing notifications and alerts you configure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage and Security

OAuth tokens used to access the Tesla Fleet API are stored securely on your device and/or in encrypted server storage. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data in transit and at rest.

Data Retention

We retain vehicle data only as long as necessary to provide the app's functionality. You may delete your data by revoking Terssie's access through your Tesla account or by contacting us at support@terssie.com.

Your Rights and Controls

You have full control over Terssie's access to your Tesla account:

• Revoke access at any time through your Tesla account settings
• Modify granted permissions through Tesla's consent management page
• Request deletion of your data by contacting support@terssie.com

Third-Party Services

Terssie integrates with the Tesla Fleet API, which is operated by Tesla, Inc. Your use of Tesla's services is also governed by Tesla's own privacy policy and terms of service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc.

Children's Privacy

Terssie is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
