These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Terssie mobile application and website at terssie.com ("Service"), operated by Terssie ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Description of Service

Terssie is a companion application that allows Tesla vehicle owners to monitor and interact with their vehicles through the official Tesla Fleet API. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the owner or authorized user of a Tesla vehicle to use this Service. You must have a valid Tesla account to authorize the app.

Tesla API Authorization

Use of Terssie requires you to authorize access to your Tesla account through Tesla's OAuth 2.0 flow. By authorizing Terssie, you grant us permission to access your vehicle data and issue commands on your behalf, limited to the scopes you approve. You may revoke this authorization at any time through your Tesla account.

Your use of Tesla's services is subject to Tesla's own terms, including the Tesla Fleet API Agreement. Terssie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access vehicles or accounts you are not authorized to use
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or Tesla's API infrastructure
• Use the Service in a manner that violates Tesla's API terms or rate limits

Vehicle Commands

Terssie may allow you to send commands to your vehicle (such as climate control or charging settings). You are solely responsible for any actions taken through the Service. We are not liable for any consequences resulting from vehicle commands you initiate.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that vehicle data will always be accurate or up to date. Vehicle data availability depends on Tesla's API and your vehicle's connectivity status.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terssie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, vehicle damage, or personal injury.

API Costs

Tesla may charge fees for Fleet API usage beyond free tier limits. You are responsible for any API costs associated with your use of the Service. Refer to Tesla's billing documentation for current pricing.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking Terssie's access through your Tesla account and uninstalling the app.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
